The following terms and conditions are for vehicle hire reservations. Customers will have the opportunity to read, understand and sign the rental agreement at the point of vehicle hand over.

General

All prices quoted are in UK Pounds Sterling.  All payments must be used by credit or debit card and state the customers name on the card.  The customer authorises the Payment details used when reserving the vehicle to be used for any further payment relating to the rental agreement including reservation cancellations, damage or loss excess.  Quotations are based on daily rates with minimum of 3 days hire.

 Driving LICENCE Restrictions

  1. All drivers must be 28 years or older and held a valid driving licence for at least five years.

  2. All drivers must NOT have been involved with more than 1 accident within the last 3 years

  3. All drivers must NOT have more than 2 speeding offences within the last 3 years.

  4. All drivers must NOT have been suspended for driving within last 5 years.

Driving Licences

All customer/drivers are required to provide valid driving licence details prior to the vehicle being delivered or no later than the date stated on the email confirmation. Sufficient time is provided for this requirement.

Additional Drivers

The fee for an additional driver is a £15 per days hire. Additional driver information and driving licence details must be provided prior to vehicle day of hire.

Fuel

Vehicles are supplied with an adequate amount of fuel and should be returned with a same quantity. Returning the vehicle with less fuel may incur further charges.

Traffic Violations

Customers are liable for traffic and parking offences committed during the hire period. We have the right to apply an administration charge for the processing of any traffic violations incurred during a hire period.   

mileage allowance and extra charges

All bookings are provided with 150 free mileage allowance per each day (24hr Period) of paid rental.

Booking Deposit

Deposits are fully refundable in the event the reservation is cancelled by us. Customers that cancel the reservation or unable to provide driving licence details are not entitled to a refund. Customer Cancellations are subject to our refund fees stated below.

Delivery & Collections

Vehicle delivery must take place at the time agreed prior to delivery, in the event the customer is late exceeding 15 minutes a fee of £45 rolling every 30 minutes will be charged (maximum 3 hours). We hold the right to cancel the rental as a No Show after 15 minutes from the arranged delivery time, which may result in further charges as stated under cancellations as "No Shows". 

The vehicle must be accessible for the arranged time of collection, in the event of the vehicle is secured on private property or land you authorise our staff full access to the vehicle and keys. Any locks, barriers, doors, shutters or gates obstructing the vehicle must be open for the collection of the vehicle. We hold no liability for any damage to such obstructions as a result of the vehicle removal/collection.  A 15 minute grace period will be provided for any obstructions to be removed or opened with notification in advance by the collection team.

Weather warnings and alerts

We reserve the right to cancel or delay any reservation in the event of a weather warnings in place at the location of rental. If the Met office website state a warning of amber or above at the time and place of rental we reserve the right to  consider booking cancellations. Deposits are non-refundable in this event but may be able to be reimbursed using the insurance excess cover recommended when reserving the vehicle. Check Weather Here

Additional Charges - Driver Referral

Our self drive insurance as standard covers drivers with a UK or EU driving licence who are aged between 30 - 70 years old with 5+ years of driving experience. We occasionally add drivers including additional drivers that do not meet this criteria however a further charge maybe required subject to our underwriters acceptance.

EXCESS - VEHICLE DAMAGE AND LOSS 

The standard vehicle excess is between £1000 - £2,500  for any damage or loss.

VEHICLE USAGE RESTRICTIONS

Rented vehicles must not be used for any of the following: off road, motor racing, race tracks, emergency assistance, chauffeur or any hire reward. Any vehicles used in these circumstances will be returned to our depot immediately due to insurance violation. Any funds paid will not be refunded in part or full for these circumstances.

customer Cancellations Prior to date of hire

  • Cancellation over 28 days notice will incur a charge of 20 % of the remaining balance

  • Cancellation between 11 - 28 days notice incurs a charge of 45 % of the remaining balance.

  • Cancellation between 0 - 10 days notice incurs a charge of 100 % of the remaining balance.

The customer is liable for the full remaining balance on delivery day for the following reasons:

  1. Unable to provide valid payment for any reason (Cash not Accepted).

  2. Driving Licence expired damaged or unavailable for inspection.

  3. Customer NO SHOW at the delivery address at the arranged time as per confirmation.

  4. Unable to provide valid requested information.

 NOTE: CANCELLED BOOKINGS CAN NOT BE RE-INSTATED.

Payment Methods

We accept all major Debit/Credit cards, including MasterCard, Visa, Switch, Amex, and Visa Delta.

false or misleading of information provided

Reservations will be cancelled with immediate effect if information provided is false, incorrect or misleading. The customer is also liable to pay any cancellation fees as stated above along with the booking deposit. False information provided includes any information submitted via our online forms.

Vehicle Security and safeguard

All vehicles must be safe guarded at all times including windows closed and doors locked when unattended. If we have evidence of the vehicle left unattended with doors or windows open, we reserve the right to remove the vehicle from the customer with no part/full refund.

Early termination and cancellations

We do not refund any payments part or full once the customer has taken delivery of the vehicle, this includes customer early termination or cancellation. We advise the customer to only reserve the vehicle for the period required.

our Reserved Right to Cancel reservations

We carry out risk assessments on hirers at the time of booking. If we believe that the customer may be a security risk for any reason that can potentially invalidate our insurance we reserve the right to cancel the reservation at any time. This includes any new information that we have been made aware. Deposit payments will be fully refunded.  we may also cancel reservations subject due to extreme or dangerous weather conditions.

 

The customer is liable for any cancellation fee failing to meet the terms & Conditions stated on this page.
